Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the MedMitra AI application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

MedMitra AI provides an AI-assisted healthcare platform that connects patients with licensed medical practitioners. Our services include:

• AI-powered medical consultations (text, voice, and in-app call)
• Doctor-reviewed and approved prescriptions
• Clinic, lab, and imaging appointment booking
• Medicine ordering and delivery
• Health record management
• Medicine and appointment reminders

IMPORTANT: MedMitra AI is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment in emergency situations.

• All AI-generated prescriptions are reviewed and approved by licensed doctors (MBBS/MD) registered with the Indian Medical Council
• In case of medical emergencies, call 112 or visit your nearest hospital immediately
• The AI assistant provides preliminary assessments only — final medical decisions are always made by qualified doctors
• Do not delay seeking emergency care based on information provided through this app

• You must provide a valid Indian phone number for registration
• You must be 18 years or older, or have parental/guardian consent
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You must provide accurate and truthful health information for safe consultations
• One account per person — sharing accounts is prohibited

• AI consultations are preliminary and always require doctor approval before a prescription is issued
• Doctors may modify, reject, or request additional information before approving a prescription
• Prescription validity and dispensing follow Indian pharmacy regulations
• We do not guarantee consultation completion within a specific timeframe, though we target under 2 minutes for doctor approval

• All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes
• Payments are processed securely via Razorpay
• Consultation fees are non-refundable once a doctor has reviewed the case
• Medicine order refunds follow our cancellation policy (full refund if cancelled before dispatch)
• Wallet balance is non-transferable and non-refundable except as required by law

You agree NOT to:

• Provide false identity or medical information
• Use the platform to obtain medications for misuse or resale
• Harass, abuse, or threaten doctors or staff
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
• Use the AI for non-medical or harmful purposes
• Share your account credentials with others

All content, AI models, branding, and software in MedMitra are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:

• We are not liable for adverse health outcomes resulting from following AI-generated suggestions before doctor approval
• We are not liable for delays caused by doctor unavailability or technical issues
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question
• We are not responsible for third-party services (pharmacies, labs, payment processors)

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Provide false information
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Misuse the prescription system

You may delete your account at any time through the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by visiting our account deletion page.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
